NOTES

  1. A son of Thomas Huggin, who died 1700
  2. A family with 4 sons - Thomas, William, Philip, John - and a daughter Mary
  3. Only a baptism for a Marie Hugine, father Thomas, in Braddan in 1680 might be the daughter Mary; no baptism for sons
  4. Although the probate of the John was not sorted until 1717, the 18 year wait must have been nothing more than an administrative casualty
