Affirm this to be the last Will and Testament of Mary Kneale alias Callow alias Higgen of the Town of Douglas who Departed this life the 16th of February [1742/3] and declared the same unto – in presence of her Husband Phillip Kneal who consented unto ---- her Last Will, She being in perfect mind and memory at the making thereof about five days before her Death, Committing her Soul unto God and her Body to Christian Burial.
She bequeathed and left unto her son John Callow all her Right of the Houses that they lived in also what part of the Houses of her Father William Higgin Deceased “----“ to their Share as soon as her said son came to Age; he paying unto her three Children by Philip Kneal her present husband two pounds three pounds a piece unto Christian and Catherine and four pounds unto the youngest Child Philip Kneal which [completes the above share of Ten pounds). Her Husband [Continuing] the House until her Said son John Callow would come to age, and in Case he dyed her part of the Houses then settled on him to descend to her Son William Kneal to which her Husband Philip Kneal gave his just consent and engaged to give up his part of the said House unto his Step:son John Callow in “---------“
She Bequeathed and left unto her Step-Daughter Elinor Kneal all her Right and Interest in the Houses [joyning] unto Philip Lace with the garden thereto the said Elinor Kneal paying unto “-----“ said three Children Wm Katherine and Philip Kneal six pounds
She left six pence apeice Legacy to any Claimers
She Nominated Constituted and Appointed her Loving Husband Phillip Kneal whole and Sole Executor of all the rest of her Goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever,

Transcribers Note: November 6, 1759 Catherine and William Kneale, children of Mary Kneale receive their share of the ten pounds, that included the share of their younger brother Philip Kneale who had died. All from John Callow their half brother.
June 23, 1763 William Kneale received from his half Sister Ellinor the sum of fourty shillings, plus another twenty upon the death of his younger brother Philip who died in his minority
