Margaret McYlera als Cain als Kinnish departed this life about the beginning of December last past intestate, whereupon the Court hath decreed her five children viz Hugh, John, Cath, Margaret and Ann McYlera joint administrators of all her goods moveable and immoveable, John and Ann being under age and the rest absent, the father undertakes the tuiton of the minors and their goods. He is sworn overseer in form of law and has given pledges.

NOTES
- Margaret was the wife of Hugh McYlrea, married 1716 in Braddan. She was a widow when she married him
- Five children Hugh (1716), Cath (1719), Margaret (1722), Ann & John (1727)
- 1730 Survey of Households in Douglas: Hugh and Margaret and three children (which from Margaret's will were probably Margaret, John & Ann)
- Margaret was buried 7th December 1739, Braddan
- Husband Hugh died 1757 (no will), and son Hugh died in 1778 after falling into the Douglas river and drowning
- Daughter Ann died 1759 mentioning three of her three siblings (but no John)
- Did the family have hard times? In 1730, Hugh Mylrea received 1/- from the trustees of Mr Thompson's Charity (ref: Manx Note Book)
