[Ref: SSM Oct 1747 #62]
NOTES
- John was the son of Thomas Mylrea & Jony Kinley, born in 1721 in Malew. He was also the second son named John so was referred to as John jnr
 - He was a cooper in Castletown and died in 1757; his brother, John snr, also a cooper in Castletown died in 1746
 - John Mylrea and Elizabeth/Isabel Caroon married 1746
 - Children: Sarah (1747), John (1749), Kath(1751) & Thomas (1754)
 - When his mother died, she left her assets to John jnr as opposed to John snr or the other brother, Thomas
 - John jnr repaid this mortgage in 1753 by taking another mortgage, this time for £25
 - There is much about the Malew Mylreas of the 1600s and early 1700s that does not hang together so extreme caution must be exercised
